PAD-006 CYCLE FOR A CAUSE

Public Awareness Cycle Ride

As Part of “Public Awareness Program” GLD Movement also initiate awareness cycle ride in South Chennai. People who are interested join us. Feel free to contact us if you like to organize the same event in your town / village / Area. You can also share your experience after your ride.

Purpose of the Ride :

1. Cycle to create awareness about water resources
2. Reach various lake / water resources in south Chennai / your town / Village / Area
3. Take Photographs of the water resources
4. Share the photos with Public also share them with us once you done the ride
5.All the pictures will be used to create awareness about the water resources

As planned, we covered 40+kms, Reached : 10+ lakes but spend 5+hrs (1+hr more than estimated) to achieve the same on 24-Nov-2013.
Let me thank everyone who make this event successful and memorable.

As part of CAO-YUVA, we have the college students / youth meet on 16-Nov-2013.  This is a unique program for us compared to any other college students meet as it’s organized by the college students outside the campus.   Let me thank our key member Thangeswaran and students for their initiative.  We see this as a great breakthrough in GLD Movement Journey.
